The bird and minerals museum in Djupivogur was established in 2004. Around 130 species of stuffed birds are stored in the museum. Many of them are resident birds but there are also a few vagrants. Nests and eggs are also stored there, and books and pictures can be found there for those who want to refresh their knowledge. The museum is also the home of various minerals that have been found in the area. The museum is open everyday over the summertime from 10:00 – 18:00. See pictures from the museum below.
